Abstract
Sugarcane industry produces wastewater with high levels of pollution. The pollutant load of wastewater can be reduced by treating wastewater at WWTP. Wastewater Treatment process still using conventional Biological systems has the disadvantage of increasing the PH of wastewater at a certain time. It causes algae to multiply. The level of algae population increases due to the nutrients in the wastewater. To prevent algae from blooming, the concentration of nutrients in wastewater must be reduced. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of catfish eyes in reducing pollutant loads and turbidity in sugarcane industrial wastewater. Wastewater management must produce the final result that is in accordance with environmental quality standards so that the waste water does not damage the environment and reduce the quality of water turbidity in the waste water treatment product. The problem found in this study is having a level of water turbidity at the outlet point or the end result of wastewater treatment. By using the Fishbone chart method to find the root cause of the turbidity of the final treated wastewater. Likewise, old engine parts support engine performance resulting in poor air quality. So it can be set aside that the process of handling wastewater does not yet have a good process flow
