Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that influence the level of underpricing of the firms that conducted an IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population in this study is that the company IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the year 2009-2013. The sample set by using porposive sampling method. The study sample was obtained by 87 companies. Hypothesis tetsting using multiple regression analysis with SPSS ver 17.0. The result show that the first hypothesis (H1) which states that the underwriter reputation affect on underpricing, accepted. The second hypothesis (H2) which states that the firm size affect on underpricing, rejected. The third hypothesis (H3) which states that the EPS affect on underpricing, rejected. The fourth hypothesis (H4) which states that the ROA affect on underpricing, rejected. The fifth hypothesis (H5) which states that the financial leverage affect on underpricing, rejected.
