Abstract

PT Nutrifood Indonesia is an FMCG company that produces food and beverage products, such as Nutri Sari, HiLo, Tropicana Slim, and L-Men. In a company, the finished product is stored in a warehouse where there is activity in and out of goods. A good product layout will help activities. The problem faced by the company is the absence of a clear layout for the finished product in the warehouse, making it difficult for warehouse staff to work. In this study, a dedicated storage method was applied to design the layout of PT NFI�Palembang's finished product warehouse. The method is applied by processing three main data, namely the space requirements, throughput, and the distance of each slot from the I / O point. After processing the three data, the results you want to achieve with the dedicated storage method are obtained, namely getting an assignment or product placement in the slot, and regulation after using the dedicated storage method. The results show that out of a total of 240 available slots, 183 slots will be used to meet the space requirements of 12 main product categories of PT Nutrifood Indonesia, and result in 4 points of regulation change after using the dedicated storage method.
