Abstract
PT Cahaya Murni Sriwindo is a company engaged in the furniture manufacturing industry. One of the products produced from this company is a panel board cabinet manufactured by the panel department. In the BCBC Panel line production, there is one line continuous production which consists of four work stations with a different number of workers at each work station. The first work station consists of one worker. The second workstation consists of two workers. The third workstation consists of two workers. While the fourth workstation consists of one worker. There is a build-up of tasks and workers have to continue working at the fourth workstation. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate the optimal number of workers in the BCBC panel line production. From the countingresults, the standard time obtained from each work station is 4.2133 seconds, 4.3820 seconds, 9.6970 seconds, and 21.8252 seconds. Based on the standard time data for each work station, then the optimal number of workers is calculated using the Workload Analysis method, it is known that there is a need for an additional workforce of three people at the fourth workstation and a system rotation between work stations on the BCBC Panel line production is also needed. in order to be able to meet the target of 100% production demand.
