Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is an inseparable thing in the industrial company system. Occupational Safety and Health is a protection effort proposed to all potentials that can cause danger. Therefore, companies must pay attention to the safety and health of their workers so that the production process can run smoothly. This research is about perceptions of the health, safety, work and environment (K3L) system in the PTPN VII Cinta Manis sugar factory from education and occupational strata. Many workers at PTPN VII do not comply with safety, namely from groups whose education only has graduated from elementary school (SD) so that they do not know what K3 is and they just think that they only work without paying attention to K3. Workers who have a high school-tertiary education background already understand and comply with this safety, on average, workers in the sugar production section. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the safety problems that exist in PTPN VII Cinta Manis and provide insight for workers who do not understand K3.
