Abstract

Decision Support Systems or Decision Support System (DSS) is a computerized system designed to improve the effectiveness of decision-making to solve problems that are semi-structured and unstructured so that the decision-making process is done more qualified. In the world of photography one aspect that is very important to the quality of a photograph is the location shooting was taking place. For amateur photographers it is considered quite difficult, so sometimes amateur photographer chose the wrong place in accordance with the desired theme. The aim of this study is to develop a decision support system the choice of location shooting that can be used by amateur photographers. This application is built based on the method PROMETHEE (preference ranking organization method enrichment evaluation). The methodology used in the development of this system is linear and sequential methodology using the programming language PHP and MySQL as its database. The results of this study can be used by the student to assess the results and hard work of the students.
