Abstract

This study aims to determine and prove whether the variable job stress affects the performance of employess of the marketing department of PT Muara Dua Palembang. The population in this study were employees of the marketing division of PT Muara Dua Palembang. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling method (census) of 46 respondents. In this study, the data collection technique used was a questionnaire instrument. The analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, namely normality test and heteroscedasticity test, simple linear regression analysis, and t test. The result obtained in this study indicate that the work stress free variable (x) has a positive and significant effect on the independent variable employee performance (y) t count is greather. The significance value is smaller than required so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.
