Abstract

Understanding of mushroom farmers about disease of mushroom plant is categorized as low. Many mushroom cultivators rely on knowledge of an expert inorder to diagnose a plant disease. The expert system can be information and guidelines to detect disease attacking mushroom plant and ways of overcome it. The method is called Certainty Factor, use language program PHP and MySQL database. The application is implemented in online program and it is operated bypeople, especially mushroom farmers. The method uses a chain crossing from ahypothesis to the facts supporting the hypothesis. The expert system is anapplication using facts and reasoning techniques used by an expert. Use of the application system can provide information and reference from users, namely, diseases that are likely attacking mushroom plant based on symptoms entered by users. The application can provide assistance for mushroom farmers or cultivator in diagnosing disease of mushroom plant early.
