Abstract

Nowdays, the use of computer technology has been highly developed and has been used in almost every activity, including to complete office work, one of which is at PT. Container Maritime Activities. However, the use of technology in this company is not optimal because the existing data is still not centralized to a single database. For this reason, web service technology is implemented with a RESTful method that allows various applications on different platforms to be integrated into one database. The simple REST architecture will make it easier for clients to consume without the need to write all program functions from scratch. Application development uses the waterfall model, made using the Netbeans IDE application and using the Mysql database. The web service API is built using the PHP programming language, while the client uses the Java programming language. The web service that was built aims to provide container data input services, view container data, store delivery order documents, and display annual reports. The design of this application is expected to help employees make it easier to do logistics administration activities.
