Abstract

Background: Facing the menopausal sometimes inflict to different perceptions premenopausal women. Goal: This study aims to determine the relationship between husband support the level of maternal anxiety in the face of menopause RSRK Charitas. Methods: The research design using observational analytic with cross sectional design, the sample size of 63 premenopausal women, was taken using the method of probability sample. The population in this study were premenopausal mothers aged 45-50 years who have a husband. HARS research instruments using the instrument. Data analysis was performed with univariate and bivariate analysis with Spearman Rho test. Result: Most of the support of her husband in the mother facing menopause in both categories as much as 29 respondents (46%). The levels of maternal anxiety in the face of menopause in the medium category as much as 29 respondents (46%). Signifikan relationship between maternal anxiety husband support with facing menopause p value 0.003. Conclusion: Husband support maternal anxiety associated with menopause face. Is recommended to health workers in Rome Katholic Charitas Hospital planning and implementing menopausal health education to reduce anxiety facing the menopausal.
