Abstract
Background : anxiety is an emotional feeling that can lead to feelings of worry, discomfort and fear. The onset of anxiety usually there are some specific factors. Similarly, the anxiety experienced by children who are influenced by long hospitalization hospitalized and position of the child. Aim : determine the factors affecting the level of anxiety hospitalization pre-school children at the Hospital of RK. Charitas Palembang. Method : this research use analytic survey method with cross sectional design and 32 respondent sample with Purvosive Sampling technique. Bivariate analysis using Kendal Tau Test. Conclusion : The majority of respondents who were treated for <3 days with the number of respondents 29 (90.6%), and the old cared for> 3 days with the number of respondents 3 (9.4%). The majority of respondents firstborn position 16 (50.0%), the middle child as much as 9 (28.1%), and youngest child of 7 (21.9%). The majority of respondents. with severe anxiety levels as much as 8 respondents (25.0%), anxiety levels were as much as 23 respondents (71,9%), and mild anxiety levels as much as 1 respondents (3.1%). Bivariate test results, there was no significant correlation between the old hospitalized with anxiety levels (p = 0,678), and there is no significant relationship between the position of a child with anxiety levels pre-school children at the Hospital of RK.
