Abstract
South Sumatra is among 11 provinces that have experienced outbreaks of Dengue Fever. The most effective and efficient prevention of dengue fever with the elimination of mosquito nests (PSN). Pineapple fruit grows in Indonesia, especially South Sumatra. Bromelin is an enzyme in pineapple that can degrade and lyse the skin walls of the larvae and the digestive tract so that the larvae will die. Part of pineapple meat is more widely used. Problems: how to eradicate mosquitoes by breaking the life cycle of mosquito larvae through safe ways for human health and environmentally friendly through the use of skin waste and pineapple hump. Research objective: to determine the effect of pineapple fruit juice (skin, meat, humps / stems), variations in concentration on the level of morphological damage to larvae resulting in death. Research method: pure experimental, post test only control group design. The population of 2404 Aedes agypti larvae has fulfilled the inclusion, a sample of 2100 larvae, randon simple sampling. Analysis of simple linear regression test data, 95% confidence level. Results: There is an effect of concentration on the morphological damage level with a sig value of 0.000 and a percentage of influence of 78.9% and there is an influence of pineapple parts on damage to morphological levels with sig values. of 0,000 and a percentage of influence of 67.6%. Conclusion: The higher the concentration, the higher the morphological damage level, the skin has a detrimental quality morphology of the larvae as well as the flesh and is better than the hump/stem.
