Abstract
The training program is one of the important activities and becomes one of the organization's investment in human resources. Self-efficacy is one of the most important variables in training that one's self -efficacy before training has a significant influen ce on increasing one's motivation to learn. Individual factors influencing self-efficacy are job involvement, organizational commitment and work environment. The work environment is an important factor that will affect the successful transfer of knowledge and skills gained in the training to the workplace of each trainee. In this study, the star hotels in Palembang became the location of the research. Palembang is one of the international cities in Indonesia. Many international events have been and will be held in Palembang, one of them is the forthcoming ASEAN Games 2018, which will be held in August 2018. The sample used in this research was 353 employees from 21 star hotels in the city of Palembang. The employees involved in the training had been selected by the hotels, especially those who frequently interact with hotel customers. Furthermore, sampling technique used was purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study show that the variables of self-efficacy and work environment have positive influences both simultaneously and partially on the transfer of training of star hotel employees in Palembang.
