Abstract

Use of information technology is important to the organization, because it can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational performance. However, the implementation of information technology is not always successful. One of the critical success factors is the attitude of users who utilize it. UTAUT is a combination of eight models of user acceptance of technology that has been developed previously . Empirical studies that adopted the UTAUT model has been widely applied. UTAUT is also used by some researchers to look at the intentions and behavior of users of information technology in education. Therefore, this study was also developed by adopting the UTAUT model to see the user's intention of SIAK in STT Musidan STIE Musi. Four constructs of UTAUT used as a determinant of behavioral intention, namely: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions. Data obtained through 300 questionnaires were distributed randomly to students of STT Musi and STIE Musi. The analysis showed that behavioral intention is significantly influenced by the performance expectancy, effort expectancy and facilitating conditions,social factors influence while no significant effect was found.
