Abstract

Drinking water is the most important requirement in human life. Along with the development of the times, many circulating bottled water, which is packaged and marketed in various sizes. One of the marketers of bottled water is PT Waterindex Tirta Lestari Palembang, which is the main distributor of Grand brand bottled water. PT Waterindex Tirta Lestari Palembang gets its products directly from the grand factory located in Lampung. Because the process of shipping goods takes time, ordering products must be done before the product runs out, because it is done recording the inventory. Recording of inventory at PT Waterindex Tirta Lestari Palembang is still done manually on a piece of paper, so it is vulnerable to damage and errors in calculations. To overcome this problem the first step that can be done is to design a inventory application at PT Waterindex Tirta Lestari, using the development methodology using the waterfall model. With the hope that later it can be implemented with Android programming using Eclipse, and SQL Lite so that it will facilitate the process of recording goods.
