Abstract

The size of congregation on Santo Yoseph Parish growing every year. With the number of attendance as large as 6.120 people on 2017, manual recording method no longer sufficient to record parochial information. In accord to the current developments of techology, Chatolic Church of Santo Yoseph Parish, which responsible for various of parochial services, will require a comprehensive system of information in order to service congretion well. The current parochial database relied on manual record to keep the data such as attendee’s identities and record on baptism, chritmation, eucharist, matrimony sacraments, which requireid to be written multiple times by secretarial departement, in turn increasing the probaility of errors and time required to look up a particular information on the database that recorded in a lot of thick book. To solve this problem as the initial move we need to design the application of information system to record on attendees personal information. This application will be design with waterfall method based on desktop and using Visual Basic programming language and database design with MYSQL.
