Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of product quality and consumer trust on the repurchase intention of Pertamax 92 fuel. The study was motivated by the decline in public trust toward Pertamax 92 due to issues related to product quality, which potentially affected consumers' intention to repurchase. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 107 Pertamax 92 users selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination (adjusted R²), the F-test, and the t-test with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on the repurchase intention of Pertamax 92 fuel. Furthermore, consumer trust also has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. These findings suggest that better perceived product quality and higher consumer trust increase consumers' intention to repurchase Pertamax 92. Therefore, PT Pertamina (Persero) should continuously maintain product quality consistency and strengthen consumer trust by providing transparent and reliable information to sustain consumers' repurchase intention.
