Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and the work environment on the performance of automobile salespeople in Palembang City. The study was motivated by issues identified through a preliminary survey, including suboptimal work motivation due to sales target pressure, inconsistent incentive systems, and insufficient organizational support. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling, using specific criteria aligned with the objectives of the study. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software to examine the effects of work motivation and the work environment on sales performance. The findings indicate that both work motivation and the work environment have a significant positive effect on the performance of automobile salespeople in Palembang City.
