Abstract

Final-year students face various demands while completing their final projects, which can impact their psychological state. Social support from those around them can assist students in coping with these demands and maintaining their psychological well-being. This study aimed to examine the relationship between social support and psychological well-being among final-year students. A quantitative approach utilizing a correlational method was employed. The study involved 70 final-year students, with data collected using social support and psychological well-being scales. Data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between social support and psychological well-being (r = 0.275, p = 0.02 ; p < 0.05). This indicates that higher levels of received social support are associated with higher levels of psychological well-being among final-year students. These findings demonstrate that social support is linked to the psychological well-being of students as they navigate the process of completing their studies.
