Abstract

Adolescence is a critical stage of life marked by significant physical, emotional, and social transitions. During this period, adolescents are particularly vulnerable to psychological issues, with stress being one of the most prevalent. If not properly addressed, such conditions can hinder personal growth and long-term development. In Palembang, the need for dedicated mental health support facilities for adolescents is becoming increasingly urgent, in line with rising public awareness of mental well-being. This study proposes the design of a Psychological Healing Facility that focuses on stress relief and psychological recovery, while also serving as a supportive space for adolescents to regain balance in their lives. The facility applies a Healing Environment approach, with the design and planning process informed by observational data and literature review. The presence of this facility is expected to not only provide therapeutic support for adolescents but also promote greater public awareness of the importance of mental health.
