Abstract

CV Sukses Jaya Mandiri, a rice grain trading and processing company, must optimally manage its inventory to avoid shortages and stockpiling. Currently, inventory control is still carried out manually based on inaccurate estimates, resulting in frequent inventory fluctuations. To address this issue, this study uses the Holt-Winter (Triple Exponential Smoothing) method, utilizing 24 months of historical demand data to forecast demand and determine optimal inventory levels. The method was able to reduce forecasting errors by 65% compared to the manual method, with a MAPE value of 8.5%.
