Abstract

This Study aims to analyze to influence of lifestyle, financial knowledge, and perceived finansial inclusion on the financial behavior of Generation Z in Palembang. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as a theoretical framework, this research examines how internal and esternal factors shape individual financial behavior. The research employs a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through the distribution of Generation Z respondents in Palembang. The results indicate that lifestyle has no significant effect on financial behavior. Conversely, financial knowledge is proven to have a positive and significant impact, emergig as the dominant factor in shaping healthy financial behavior. Perceived financial inclusion also shows a positive and significant influence as a supporting means of accessing formal financial services. The study concludes that strengthening knowledge capacity and access to financial services is more crucial for Generation Z than lifestyle factors.
