Abstract

Transportation is an inseparable part of the lives of the people of Indonesia. Transport can make a faster movement in daily life. Unbalanced transport activities can create problems to the container activities of these transportation modes. Examples of ground transportation unbalance occurs in the city of Palembang, which in turn makes the government is planned new policies of Multimodal Terminal in the Karya Jaya Region. With the integrated terminal planning is needed redesign of the terminal Karya Jaya are currently not able to meet the demands of the environment and society. Topic "Redesign of the Integrated Bus Terminal Karya Jaya Type A" is selected in order to create a facility, circulation and function of the terminal in the city of Palembang better and to support the government's plan in the development of a multimodal terminal. Integrated Bus Terminal Type A Karya Jaya in Palembang will be planned in the design of Post Modern architectural style so different from the other terminals in Palembang.
