Abstract

Palembang as the capital of South Sumatra is attracting entrepreneurs both home and abroad to conduct business activities. Hotel as a means of accommodation plays an important role because of the hotel and facilities are required to provide better service for guests. Along with the economic improvement, the need for a business hotel also increased. As a business hotel, which was designed with a capacity of 200 rooms located on the street M. Effendi. As a business hotel characteristics corresponding market share achieved by having facilities that support business activities such as extensive Business Center, Meeting Room and Function Room with varying capacities and the Exhibition Area for the display of goods production. Bedrooms are dirancangpun according to the needs of business guests who stay only one or two nights only and do business activity to outside the room so the room size can be smaller than the size of a regular hotel room. Locations design in M. Effendi street located in the city center and close to the POM IX which is the "Shopping Street" which is very crowded with restaurants of various classes.
