Abstract

In the digital era, which demands speed and accuracy in information delivery, PT Astra Motor South Sumatra faces challenges in managing customer interactions, particularly in providing dealer location and vehicle price information that still rely on manual processes. This condition limits service availability to office hours and creates service gaps during nights and public holidays. This study aims to design and implement a technological solution in the form of a chatbot application called “ASMOS” (Asisten Motor Sumsel) to improve service efficiency and continuity. The system is developed using the Python programming language with the Flask micro-framework as the backend and is integrated with the Twilio API as an instant messaging communication platform and the Google Sheets API as a dynamic data repository. The development methodology adopts the structured Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The testing results indicate that ASMOS is capable of providing dealer location information based on administrative districts and real-time On The Road (OTR) price inquiries, demonstrating that service automation effectively enhances operational efficiency and improves customer experience through fast and consistent responses.
