Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal’s leadership as an academic supervisor at SD ST. Agatha Palembang. It is a descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research subject is the principal of SD ST. Agatha, while the informants are the principal and classroom teachers of grades 1–6 at SD ST. Agatha Palembang. The results show that the principal has carried out academic supervision in a structured manner, covering the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. However, in the implementation stage, the principal faced obstacles such as official meetings that caused temporary delays in supervision. This research is expected to contribute to the development of the principal’s leadership at SD ST. Agatha Palembang as an academic supervisor.
