Abstract
This study aims to develop interactive multimedia learning media using Google Sites for the topic of cultural diversity for fourth-grade students at SD Xaverius 9 Palembang. The research background arises from students’ difficulties in understanding cultural diversity, which has a broad scope, and the use of learning media that is still one-directional and lacks interactivity. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The media were validated by three experts: a subject matter expert, a language expert, and a media expert. The trials were conducted in three stages: one-to-one, small group, and field test. Expert validation results indicated high feasibility, with scores of 92.86% from the subject matter expert, 93.75% from the language expert, and 100% from the media expert. Media practicality was in the high category, with scores of 92% in the one-to-one stage and 98.33% in the small group stage. Media effectiveness was also high, with an average test score of 94% in the field test stage. Thus, the interactive multimedia Google Sites is valid, practical, and effective for teaching IPAS on cultural diversity at SD Xaverius 9 Palembang.
