Abstract

Technological developments in the Internet of Things (IoT) have made a significant contribution to supporting progress in the field of smart homes, often referred to as "Intelligent Homes." Pump safety is crucial for home security, especially given the high number of house fires caused by water pumps running continuously when there is no water, triggering fires. This issue led to the creation of the "IoT-Based Pump Water Pressure Monitoring System (Supporting the Intelligent Home Feature)." This system aims to improve safety and facilitate real-time monitoring of water pump performance. The system design utilizes hardware in the form of supporting components to build this water pressure monitoring device, such as a pressure sensor, ESP8266, relay, and other components. It also utilizes software to display the results of the monitoring process in the form of reports.
