Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of learning media at SDK Mitra Penabur Palembang towards the teaching and learning process and analyze the extent to which learning media is used and the obstacles faced in its use. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires and observations. The results of the study indicate that the use of varied learning media such as visual, audio, audiovisual, digital media can increase the interest and motivation of students in SDK Mitra Penabur Palembang. However, in its implementation there are still obstacles including: unstable internet network, which hinders the optimal use of digital media, limited time in planning learning media, lack of teacher training, especially for the development of technology-based media. The conclusion of this study is that effective learning media plays an important role in improving supporting facilities, especially in terms of providing a stable and even Wi-Fi network throughout the school area continues to develop and utilize innovative learning media.
