Abstract

Background: Hallucinations occur when a person perceives something in the environment without real stimuli, meaning the client interprets something that is not real as external stimuli or prompts. The individual experiences incorrect perceptions, such as hearing voices, feeling touches, seeing things that do not exist, or smelling odors that are not there. The type of hallucination that a person often experiences is auditory hallucination Objective: To understand the nursing care with the provision of Tie-Dye Art Therapy for Patients with Hallucinations in the Merpati Room of Ernaldi Bahar Hospital Palembang. Methode: This study uses a descriptive method that describes three respondents who experience auditory hallucinations; subjects were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The intervention provided is Tie-Dye Art Therapy for Hallucination Patients, implemented over four consecutive days. The sessions last for 30-40 minutes. Results : After the intervention of implementing Tie-Dye Art Therapy. In Patients with Hallucinations, the implementation was carried out for 4 consecutive days for 30-40 minutes. There was a noticeable reduction in the signs and symptoms of hallucinations. This was evidenced by the results from the mental health nursing assessment format through the progress notes of each patient. Suggestion. future researchers are expected to expand the research and continue the application of tie-dye art therapy for patients with hallucinations
