Abstract

Dental is a vital organ inside the human body. Most of the people of Indonesia are often affected by diseases related to the teeth because the call to check the teeth every six months is never ignored, because people are more concerned with the health of organs - other vital organs. Dental caries is one of the dental health problems that are often experienced by the public. Dental caries is characterized by demineralization of dental hard tissue which is then followed by the breakdown of organic materials. Based on the above background, it will be built software that has the ability to diagnose dental caries disease by the method of CBR (Case Base Reasoning). So that part of the artificial intelligence that contain the knowledge and experience that is inserted by a specialist in an area or certain documents (medical records). Where this method to solve the problem by considering the same events that have occurred in the past, and then use this knowledge to solve new problems.
