Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work overload and work discipline on nurse performance in Palembang City Hospital. The data used are primary and secondary data. The population of this study were nurses at Palembang City Hospital and the sample used was 130 respondents using the Hair formula. Data analysis techniques use validity tests, reliability tests, classic assumption tests, and descriptive statistics. The model feasibility test technique uses the F test and the coefficient of determination. Hypothesis testing techniques use multiple linear regression analysis and t test. The results in this study reveal that work overload has a negative effect on nurse performance and work discipline has a positive effect on nurse performance
