Abstract
Introduction: Toddlers are children in the age range of 12-36 months or (1-3 years). Growth and development in toddlers includes different growth and development but cannot be excluded, because growth and development can go hand in hand. One of the stages of development at the age of toddlers is the psychosexual development stage. Sexual development in children aged 1-3 years enters the anal phase, in this phase children experience pleasure in holding feces, children also like to play with their feces. The role of parents in sexual education is to provide responsibility as a form of parental concern for their child's future in maintaining honor. Sexual education at an early age is still often considered by local people to be taboo, but this sexual education must be provided so that children do not receive wrong information. Sexual education is education that is given from childhood. This sex education is intended as enlightenment for living a healthy and reasonable life from childhood to adulthood. Method: This research method uses a descriptive survey approach with a quantitative research type. The sampling technique used total sampling with a total of 36 respondents adjusted to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the measuring tool used a questionnaire with 13 questions. Data analysis uses univariate analysis. Results: Most of the parents' education was high school as many as 25 (69.4%), parents did not work (IRT) as many as 19 (52.8%), good level of knowledge 34 (94.4%) Conclusion: After the researchers collected data on the level of parental knowledge about sexual education for toddler-aged children, the level of parental knowledge was good at 34 (94.1%)
