Abstract
Positive teaching in education is an approach that focuses on reinforcing positive student behavior through supportive feedback. The aim of this research is to test the provision of positive teaching methods in dealing with tantrum behavior that often occurs in early childhood. This research uses a quantitative method with a PreExperimental Design approach which begins with a pre-test and ends with a post-test. The data collection method in this research is by observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in the research is the Man- Whitney Test. The test results using Mann Whitney show a significance value of 0.050 (p≤0.05), which means the hypothesis can be accepted. The research results showed that there was a decrease in tantrum behavior by 9 points after teachers received positive teaching training. Although testing of teachers' knowledge did not show a significant difference with a value of 0.121 (p>0.050), which means there was no significant difference in their knowledge before and after training, the test results showed that overall, positive teaching training had the potential to reduce tantrum behavior in students.
