Abstract
An independent curriculum is learning that can be understood as freedom to work, think, and respect or respond to changes that occur. This research aims to determine the relationship between kinesthetic learning style and social interaction in the P5 independent curriculum for students at SMPN 14 Tulang Bawang Barat. The hypothesis in this research is to see whether or not there is a relationship between the two variables in the research. The subjects in this research were students of SMPN 14 Tulang Bawang Barat with a population of 325 students, using a sample of 119 students, then a trial sample of 40 students. The sampling technique was only taken from one class or generation, namely seventh grade. The analytical method to see the correlation or relationship between two variables uses the product moment correlation test or Pearson product moment correlation coefficient. The results of the research show that there is a positive relationship between kinesthetic learning style and social interaction in P5 independent curriculum for students at SMPN Tulang Bawang Barat. The correlation coefficient value between kinesthetic learning style and social interaction is 0.483 with Sig 0.000, which means that the higher the kinesthetic learning style, the higher the social interaction.
