Abstract
This study examines the relationship between shopping lifestyle, self-control levels, and impulsive buying among university students. In the era of globalization, consumption not only meets basic needs but also becomes a lifestyle, especially among students who are often influenced by fashion trends, social pressure, and social media. The importance of financial literacy and self-control in managing shopping behavior is emphasized as a way to reduce impulsive buying. The study aims to explore the relationship between shopping lifestyle and self-control with impulsive buying among students. The research employs a quantitative method with a non-probability sampling technique. The subjects of the study were 104 students. Data collection was conducted using scales. The major hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship between shopping lifestyle and self-control with impulsive buying among students. The results of the pearson product moment test showed an F value of 51.197 and a significance value of 0.00. Based on these results, it can be concluded that all hypotheses are accepted, indicating a relationship between shopping lifestyle and self-control with impulsive buying among students.
