Abstract

The increasing number of animated films in Indonesia, especially since the spread of the corona virus (covid-19), has made the younger generation start to develop themselves by making animated films, so that the emergence of young animators and film companies, especially animation, are increasingly developing. However, there is a lack of a platform that allows animators to work and develop their talents to the fullest. To overcome the problems that occurred, an animation studio was designed which was located in Palembang which was located in an office area to support the atmosphere and creativity in the work of animators and support the development of young animators' talents, so the planning and design of the Animation Studio in Palembang was carried out. The planning and design of the Animation Studio in Palembang uses a theme taken from the word animation itself, namely anima which means life and combines the concept of yin and yang which has balance. It is hoped that what has been planned and designed can help provide a suitable platform for animators.
