Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in predictions of company financial distress before and during the Covid-19 pandemic with a focus on companies in the tourism, manufacturing, property, pharmaceutical and building materials & heavy equipment sectors and sub-sectors listed on the IDX in the 2017-2022 period. The data used is secondary data. The research population was 126 companies with a sample of 116 companies based on the sample collection technique, namely purposive sampling. The prediction financial distress method used is the Grover method (G-Score) with statistical testing using the Wilcoxon Sign-Rank Test. The results of this research show that there is a significant difference in company G-Score values before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.
