Abstract
Introduction: Caring is a behavior that nurses must have in providing health services in nursing practice, which functions to help and serve sick patients so they can recover. Caring behavior is one of the nurses' efforts to help patients, build relationships of mutual trust, and encourage patients to face their illness during the treatment process. In order for nursing services to be achieved, a caring role for nurses is needed in providing services to patients. A nurse must prioritize a caring attitude in order to provide a good nursing service experience in the inpatient room. Objective: This study aims to explore and analyze the experience of patients receiving caring behavior in the VIP inpatient room at the Provincial Hospital Method: This research uses a qualitative design with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 4 participants. Data analysis by drawing conclusions Results: The results of this study obtained 5 results, namely (1) Patient response to nursing services, (2) Nurse communication with patients in nursing services, (3) Spiritual support for patients, (4) Caring nurses in dealing with patient complaints, (5) Lack of service in implementing caring. Suggestion: It is hoped that the research results will become additional sources of literature the field of nursing science and this research is expected to improve caring behavior in all inpatients.
