Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of Cyberloafing and Job Stress on Employee Performance in Palembang. An employee's performance can be seen from how he carries out his duties. The variables used in this research are Cyberloafing (X1) and Job Stress (X2) for the independent variable (Independent) and Employee Performance for the dependent variable (Dependent). The population in this study were employees in Palembang with samples taken using the Purposive Sampling Technique. The sample criteria were working in Palembang. With data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis. By testing the feasibility of the instrument using the Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test with Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Testing using the t test and coefficient of determination. The research results obtained are that partially the Cyberloafing variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance in Palembang. The work stress variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance in Palembang. The results of testing the coefficient of determination also found that 18.1% of the cyberloafing and work stress variables were able to explain employee performance variables, while the remaining 81.9% of employee performance variables could be explained by variables other than the variables in this study.
