Abstract

This study aims to prove the existence of moderating role of independent directors in affecting the relationship of the diversification strategy to company performance. The population in this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2015. Samples were determined using purposive sampling method. The research sample obtained are as many as 21 companies. Hypothesis testing using regression analysis with SPSS ver moderation. 17.0. Results of hypothesis testing 1 shows the results of that strategy Diversification does not affect the Company's performance. While the results of hypothesis testing 2 shows the results of that independent commissioners can not moderate between Diversification Strategy on Corporate Performance.
