Abstract
This study aims to test empirically the positive influence of corporate social responsibility on the financial performance of listed companies in LQ45. Independent variable in this study is Corporate Social Responsibility, the dependent variable is the firm’s financial performance is proxied by ROA, the control variables are firm size and industry type. Population in this study is a company in the index LQ 45 listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) during 2010-2012. 26 samples used in this research based on purposive sampling done thoroughly. Hypothesis tested by multiple regression analysis. The result is Corporate Social Responsibility is not a positive influence on the financial performance of listed companies in LQ45.
