Abstract

Introduction: Drugs are substances or substances that, if entered into the human body, either orally (drinking), inhaling or injecting, can change a person's thoughts, mood, feelings and behavior. The impact of drug abuse can be seen from a person's physical, psychological and social. People who are at risk of drug abuse are teenagers and communities such as the motorbike community. Drug abuse occurs due to lack of knowledge about the dangers of drugs. Objective : Known description of the knowledge of members of the motorcycle community about the dangers of drugs.the population in this study amounted to 51 univariate analysis Methods: The research method used is descriptive quantitative using total sampling technique. Results: The results of the study were that respondents who had good knowledge about the dangers of drugs amounted to 27 (52.9%), enough 17 (33.3%) and less 7 (13.7%). Suggestion: It is expected that respondents will maintain good knowledge and respondents with sufficient and less knowledge are expected to increase knowledge in order to avoid drug abuse Conclusion: the resulth of thus study indicate that there are more respondents with good knowledge than sufficient knowledge category and less knowledge
