Abstract

Building materials are one of the items that are often sought after by the general public, whether for carpentry or building a building. desired by consumers so that there is a necessity for building shops to meet the need for building materials desired by consumers so that entrepreneurs do not lose the opportunity to gain the benefits that should be obtained. Due to frequent loss sales due to insufficient stock of goods due to shop owners still using conventional methods, therefore calculations are made to increase sales using the EOQ method so that stores can increase sales and increase store profits, as a comparison the total cost of inventory using the old store method is Rp. 272,839,770 while the EOQ method is Rp. 272,839,770, there is a saving of 36,834,040 or 1.15611674%. Meanwhile, in terms of profit, there was an increase in profit of IDR 9,969,050 from the initial shop method of IDR 79,701,450 after using the EOQ method it increased to IDR 86,670,500 resulting in an increase of 0.91%.
