Abstract

Background : Children in preschool are children who are 3-5 years old. In the preschool period, children usually experience rapid development, especially in cognitive development. Fine motoric development is an important aspect of children's cognitive abilities. As for children who experience delays in the development of their fine motor skills, so that at the age of 0 to 5 years, children in the Golden Age must receive greater attention for the growth and development of their fine motoric skills. There are several ways to prevent fine motoric development disorders in children, namely by early detection of child growth and development and screening and parents providing early stimulation. Method: in this study using a descriptive case study. The research subjects amounted to two people. The data collection instrument was carried out using an observation sheet. Results : The results of this study after conducting assessments, interventions up to evaluation showed that there was an increase in children's fine motoric development which after 5 days of puzzle playing stimulus therapy was carried out then the Denver II test returned the fine motor test results of the first and second respondents obtained normal results (no no delay and only one failed). Offer : after intervention for 5 consecutive days it can be concluded that giving stimulus therapy playing puzzles can improve fine motoric development in children
