Abstract

This research aims to find out how to analyze the values of children's character education in the animated film Sing 2. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used observation by analyzing the animated film Sing 2. This study used researcher triangulation to obtain valid data. This study uses data analysis techniques Miles and Hubarman which has three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. In this study there were three researchers. Based on the results of the study, researchers found 14 character education values in the animated film Sing 2 which correspond to the 18 character values from Syamsul Kurniawan's 2017 book. The character education values that appear in the animated film Sing 2 are as follows: honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independent, curiosity, peace-loving, national spirit, appreciating achievement, friendly/communicative, social care, social care and responsibility. Character education contained in the animated film Sing 2 can be used as a channel for growing character values through the learning process. Keywords: Character Education, Animated Film, Sing 2.
