Abstract
Background: Implementation of scheduled activities is one way to improve daily activities for mental clients. Scheduled activities are activities that are planned and carried out routinely by soul clients according to their abilities and interests. Scheduled activities can help soul clients to have better motivation, concentration, social interaction, and self-control. Scheduled activities must be adapted to the conditions and needs of mental clients, and carried out with guidance and support from family, friends or health workers. Purpose: to determine the level of self-care of mental clients through scheduled activity interventions. Method: Case study method to explore nursing care for clients with mental disorders through scheduled activity interventions. Result: Mr. Z and Mr. R, on the first day all scheduled activities for self-care such as bathing, decorating, dressing, eating, practicing defecation and urination are scheduled 2x a day and taking medicine according to the schedule still assisted by officers, on the second day some activities are carried out 2x a day assisted and some independently. On the third day all scheduled activities are carried out 2x a day and the client can do them independently and in accordance with what is taught. Suggestion: It is hoped that clients can continue to consistently implement the schedule of activities that have been made together so that they can still carry out adequate self-care. Scheduled activities should be carried out regularly and consistently with the help and support of family, friends or health professionals. Keywords: Mental Clients, Self Care, Scheduled Activities
