Abstract

Background: There are many primiparous mothers who have just given birth to their first child who do not know about family planning, post partum mothers, exclusive breastfeeding methods and postnatal depression mothers. If left untreated, the mother will experience baby blues and post partum. Therefore, the researcher intends to conduct health education about healthy babies. using booklet media to increase mothers' knowledge about family planning, postpartum mothers, how to give breast milk and postpartum depression. Objective: This case study aims to determine the results of implementing health education about healthy babies using booklet media to increase the level of knowledge of primiparous mothers Methods: The method used in this case study is descriptive with a nursing process approach with a case study design, 2 respondents in this case study. Results: The results of this case study show that there is a significant difference in the level of knowledge between before and after being given health education about Healthy Baby using booklet media, namely respondent 1 from a score of 40% to 100% and respondent 2 from a score of 40% to 100%. Suggestion: For further research in measuring the level of knowledge, it is better to implement it in a full week to see better results.
