Abstract

The prevalence in 2023 is estimated to reach 1.28 billion, in adults aged 30-79 years worldwide and most of them live in low-income countries and it is estimated that 46% of people According to BPS Palembang, the incidence of hypertension cases in Palembang city in 2022 is as many as 1,497,736 people. In addition to the physical impact, hypertension also has an impact on the financial burden Purpose: Provide education about hypertension and implement warm water soaks with salt. Method: Descriptive method with a nursing process approach which was carried out on 3 patients who obtained the One Group Pretest Posttest design which aims to determine whether there is an effect of foot soak therapy with warm water with salt. Results: From the results of the afternoon age the most respondents were aged 31-50 years (66.7%) as many as 2 respondents. The most gender is female as many as 3 respondents (100%) of respondents. sample of 3 respondents (100%) said they had a history of hypertension more than 1 year ago. Mrs. E before the implementation, her blood pressure was 130/90 after implementation it became 128/80 mmHg, for Mrs. I the blood pressure was 170/120 mmHg after implementation it became 168/108 mmHg and for Mrs. Z the blood pressure was 150/ 90 mmHg after implementation to 150/84 mmHg Suggestion: Based on the results of this study, it is expected that respondents can maintain Keywords: Foot Soak, Salt and Hypertension
