Abstract

ABSTRACT The aims of this research is to determine influence of materialism and money attitude toward financial management students in Chatolic Musi Charitas University Palembang. Population of this research is students in Chatolic Musi Charitas University Palembang. Samples of this research are 155 respondents. As for, sampling technicque using nonprobabilitysampling that isconvenience sampling. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis technique using validity dan reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and t test. The result of this research shows that materialism has negative influence towards financial management, whereas money attitude has positive influence towards financial management. keywords: materialism, money attitude, financial managemnet behavior
